Happy New Year from Valley View Ranch!
We are looking forward to some new projects this year, such as a grazing project our daughter is hoping to manage at our ranch!
Rod, Jenna and I attended the Western Canadian Grazing Conference in Edmonton on Dec 9-11. The conference discussed leading edge grazing and forage techniques and theories for producers, with featured speakers from across Canada and the United States. We came home with some new ideas on sheep grazing that Jenna is hoping to apply. This fall we may have some grass pastured lamb available!
We are still trying to source the right sheep, but we will keep you posted as to when the project is underway and when orders can be placed for Jenna's grass pastured lamb.
