With haying and harvest season around the corner, I was reminded of the incredible experience we had a few summers ago.
We helped Rod's dad Joe and his neighbours to work with their horse teams and equipment to do some old fashioned threshing and haying.

It was such a thrill!
Sadly, the two larger Clydesdales in Joe's team - Sarge & Major - have since passed away. They are shown below with the team cutting hay. Its nice to have these great pics and memories of them enjoying this special day!
